York Chess Day School

Join York's own teenage chess star, Aaron Rich, for the York Chess Summer school on Tuesday 26th August.

The day will comprise dedicated coaching in the morning and a rapidplay competition with prizes in the afternoon. It is open to children from 8-15 years old and is for those who want to improve their chess ability rather than just play socially. It is targeted primarily at those with a playing strength up to 1500 rating.

Expect to learn more about tactics, positioning and strategy from this England and Yorkshire player, including looking at expert games, puzzles and learning exercises. 9.30-4.30pm. £25 per pupil (DM Ben for a private discussion on 07469159134 if this cost will exclude you.)
